My Fall Wishlist

I love fall. There’s no better feeling than being wrapped up in a sweater that’s as soft and fuzzy as a blanket while drinking hot chocolate. Oh, that’s the good life right there.

There’s a few items I have my eye on this fall that I’d love to purchase, so I thought I’d share them with you! 🙂

This Ruffle-Neck Sweater from J. Crew is literally my definition of a perfect fall top -warm and cozy with a feminine flair. I’m obsessed.

Yeah, I know. These Daniel Wellington watches are a little on the pricey side, but they’re a preppy classic for a reason. I found a 25% off coupon code “seungborao” on RetailMeNot that actually worked, surprisingly. I don’t know when it expires so you may want to go ahead and pick one up if you’re considering it.

I’ve been wanting an Anorak Jacket for a long time, and this one from Target is pretty darn cute. It’s also only $32 versus another one I’ve been eyeing for $78, so can you guess which one I’m going to get? 😉

Is this not the cutest Fisherman’s Sweater? I love the detail on the arms. Cream sweaters can go with pretty much anything, that’s why I’ve been wanting one for the longest time. I think I found mine right here!

I hope my fall selections inspired you in your search for the perfect fall wardrobe. 😉 Enjoy your hot chocolate and I’ll talk to you later!

10 Under $10

One of the problems I have with being a teenager is that I don’t have a cash flow large enough to buy all of the things I want. I mean, $15 a week doesn’t exactly pay for Lilly Pulitzer shift dress, now does it? One thing I CAN handle is a fabulous find for under $10! I’ve put together 10 of my favorite bargains for my soul sisters out there with the same problem.

Are these not the most gorgeous earrings? They’re on clearance at J. Crew for only $9.99!

I love this Black Tank Dress from Target for only $9.98! It would be so easy to dress up or down, and it could transition to fall with some cute tights and a denim jacket.

This adorable top from TJ Maxx is $10 even, but I love the nautical look. They have it in navy blue as well!

I am so in love with this North Carolina tee. It’s only $7.49, what a steal!

More of those nautical stripes on this peplum tee, but this time with vintage lace! ❤

You know those blue shorts I’ve been wearing a lot lately? They’re now on clearance for only $7.49!

More NC love with this tank top from Belk. It’s marked down to $7.49.

The bright pattern on these shorts is perfect to end your summer with flair.

My cropped pants are one of the most frequently used items in my closet, so why not pick up this pair for only $9.99?

I saved the best deal for last! This tank top from Target is on clearance for $5.08! They have several different colors, so maybe get more than one to stock up for next summer.

I hope you found something you loved in this 10 Under $10! I know I sure did.

Shopping Trip

It’s always a good day when you go shopping! I went last week and got some super cute clothes – including a Vineyard Vines shirt that I am beyond excited about.

I love Vineyard Vines shirts, but I figured this long-sleeve tee would be the most versatile. I love to wear long sleeve shirts at the beach so I don’t roast my arms, and it can obviously be worn in the fall and winter as well. Regular t-shirts are great, but this one is perfect. ❤

This is such an adorable dress! I wore it a couple of days ago to a party with Pink Converse and silver hoop earrings. You can pretty much pair it with anything, the grey is a blank canvas.

Coral is one of my favorite colors right now. This eyelet skirt is so vintage and fun – I’m still looking for the perfect shirt to wear it with, though.

I finally got some of those Nike Shorts everyone seems to have now. I feel so cool.

I hope you enjoyed my shopping trip and that you find some great buys of your own! Happy Shopping!

Jack Rogers – Why I Bought the Fake Ones

Okay. I happen to be the poster kid for name brand preppy stuff – wishing I had it that is. I have hardly anything that’s name brand…including Jack Rogers. BUT if you’re like me and wishing for those metallic sandals, here is a great alternative that I found yesterday!

Palms Carolina from Shoe Show is the closest match I’ve seen to Jack Rogers. I honestly don’t know how they made it so similar, considering Jack Rogers are trademarked. They’re a whopping $25, and they are infinitely more comfortable than real Jacks. I’m in love. With shoes…I may have a problem.

My Beauty Must-Haves

It takes a long time to find the perfect beauty products, but I think I’ve finally, FINALLY done it. Here’s my list!

  1. Hydrate

Water is essential – it helps stimulate hair and nail growth and keeps your skin looking younger. Add lemon or other fresh fruits to make it more enjoyable!

Nothing is attractive about chapped lips. I keep Chapstick 8 Hour Moisture in my pocket at all times, which may seem a bit obsessive but I find that my lips are much healthier now that I frequently moisturize them.

3. Face Moisturizer

I love Garnier Moisture Rescue for my face – I usually use it at night before I go to bed. It’s only $6, which is considerably cheaper than name-brand facial moisturizers.

4. Acne Scrub

St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub smells sooooo divine, oh my gosh. It works amazingly well, and it doesn’t dry out my skin like some other acne scrubs.

5. Whitening Toothpaste

Nothing is more elegant than a white smile! I’m too cheap to buy whitening strips, but Crest 3D White Toothpaste works as a cheaper alternative.

6. Anti-Breakage Hair Products

If you’re a frequent flat-iron user like me, your hair is probably in pretty bad shape. I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo, Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner, and Tresemme Keratin Smooth Spray. These three products are AMAZING. Definitely go check them out.

I hope all of these helped you in your beauty routine! 🙂

see you next time!

Seersucker: A Love Story

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, a little girl was dressed up in her Sunday best. The red seersucker dress with little embroidered ladybugs was to influence that little girl in her fashion journey all her life. Seersucker is now one of that little girls favorite things! Guess who the little girl is now?

Here are a few of my seersucker favorites!

I am going to keep putting this Seersucker Bow Hat on my blog until it is in each and every one of your closets.

It’s really hard to tell in this picture, but the fabric coming out of the sweater is seersucker! Adorable!

This Monogrammed Seersucker Sunglass Strap is absolutely precious! I’m not a fan of the stiff straps, and I bet this one would lay well around your neck.

I hope you enjoyed this little sampling of seersucker. 🙂 see you next time!

What I’m Loving Right Now

So many cute things are popping up in stores right now, it was so hard to choose just a few to feature! I managed to narrow it down to 3, and I hope you love them all as much as I do.

I’m getting ready to order one of these….are they not the CUTEST? This bow bracelet in You Gotta Regatta is made by an amazing Etsy company called AshleyParringtonCo – go check them out! $14

This is such a classy watch. I love the neutral color, it will go with so many outfits. $11

I just bought this Lauren James Bow Hat , and I am in LOVE with it. It’s perfect for spring and summer, and I plan on wearing it to the pool quite often. $30 (I got it on sale for $15)
