Stripes and Sweaters

What’s up guys? I hope your week has been good so far – if not, just hang in there. It’s almost Friday. πŸ˜‰

NC weather is making me mad right now. First it wants to be cold, then it wants to be hot….it’s November, y’all. Today it’s 80 degrees outside. However, being the stubborn girl that I am, I’ve been wearing my sweaters and doing exactly what the name says: sweat. It’s all in the name of fashion, of course.

Grey Sweaters are so versatile for fall – I have three or four that I switch out through the cooler months.

Striped T-shirts – every girl should have at least one. They’re classy yet comfortable, so you can dress them up or down.

Boyfriend Jeans are the ultimate stylish-yet-comfortable jeans. I like mine a bit tighter in the thighs so they don’t look like sweatpants, but you can go as baggy or as tight as you like. Just make sure they have that trademark cuff on the bottom.!

Pink Converse…are you tired of seeing them yet?

My exact necklace isn’t available online, but you can check out these other Fair Trade options.

My Book of the Day is Battle of the Ampere by Richard Paul Evans. If you’re into sci-fi, you’ll love this book!

I’m going to go take off my sweater now…the temperature is still rising and I have to say, I’m a bit grumpy about it. 😩

It’s Fall, Y’all!

Ahhhh I’m so excited for FALL! The leaves, the sweaters, and of course, the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Today was a bit warm to wear my favorite sweater and boots, so I put together a little Fall Transition outfit that turned out super cute!

I love this Grey T-Shirt Dress – it’s as comfy as a nightgown, and you can dress it up or down depending upon the occasion.

Plaid happens to be one of my favorite things. It’s probably grown from a love to an unhealthy obsession as I’ve gotten older, but you won’t tell, will you? πŸ˜‰ This Pink Plaid is literally to die for. ❀

Converse tennis shoes for obvious reasons. #shoegoals

happy fall, y’all ❀

Floral Tops and Woven Sandals

Today I thought I would channel my inner “flower child” with a flowy floral top and woven sandals.

Is thisΒ top not the cutest? I love flowy chiffon shirts like this one when it’s super hot outside. Even when you want to dress a little nicer and wear jeans it still keeps you nice and cool.

Of course I love my woven sandals from Target – you’re probably sick of seeing them by now. Don’t worry, it’s almost fall so you’ll get a little break. πŸ˜‰

My Book of the Day is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I’m so excited to read this for the first time!

Chambray and Stripes

This is honestly one of my new favorite outfits.

I could sit around and just pet this chambray shirt. A little weird, maybe…but it seriously feels like silk.

Just picked up this striped tee from Target yesterday! It’s on sale for $5, so get a bunch of colors while you can.

These colored shorts from Belk are almost as soft as the shirt. I’ve been hoping to get some more colors, they have a really pretty pale pink.

Are you sick of seeing these thong sandals yet? I’m definitely not sick of wearing them – they get even more comfortable as I break them in.

My Book of the Day is The Voyages of Dr. Dolittle by Hugh Lofting. This is one of my childhood favorites, but I even enjoy it now. It’s free on the Kindle currently!

Happy Wednesday! πŸ™‚

Anchor Shirts and Colored Shorts

I spent a long time staring at this picture trying to figure out whether the blues coordinated. I’ll let you decide.

My anchor t-shirt from American Eagle is no longer available, but this one from Target is a similar color and equally as cute.

These Colored Shorts from Belk are so adorable! They come in a bunch of different colors so I’m sure you’ll find a pair that’s perfect for you.

I love my Thong Sandals from Target. They’re so comfy and don’t rub between my toes like other sandals.

My Book of the Day is The Maiden of Mayfair by Lawana Blackwell. It’s a great late 1800’s novel, which happens to be one of my favorite type of books. πŸ™‚

Have a great Monday everybody!

A-Line Skirts and Pearls

Although this skirt looks blue in the picture, I promise it’s black. πŸ˜€

Black T-Shirts are the best, ya’ll.

My skirt is from Abercrombie and Fitch, but it’s not available anymore. I love any a-line skirt though, and this one from TJ Maxx is especially cute.

Black Flats are essential to every wardrobe. πŸ™‚

A Short Pearl Necklace is perfect for this outfit – it accentuates the scoop neck of the t-shirt.

My Book of the Day is The Secret by Beverly Lewis. She’s probably one of the most well known Amish authors, and this book is amazing.

Simply Southern and Seersucker

It was about 90 degrees today, so perhaps my long-sleeve Simply Southern shirt wasn’t the best choice.

They don’t make this particular SS shirt anymore, but you can find loads of other cute ones here.

I just got these Seersucker Shorts from Loft on sale for $20! They’re really comfortable, but beware – if you order them online, size down. I usually wear a 2 but these are 00’s and they’re a little loose.

HELP I’m trapped in a Palms Sandals addiction!

My Book of the Day is Life Support by Robert Whitlow. It’s really easy to get sucked in…I read the whole thing in a day.
