Stripes and Sweaters

What’s up guys? I hope your week has been good so far – if not, just hang in there. It’s almost Friday. 😉

NC weather is making me mad right now. First it wants to be cold, then it wants to be hot….it’s November, y’all. Today it’s 80 degrees outside. However, being the stubborn girl that I am, I’ve been wearing my sweaters and doing exactly what the name says: sweat. It’s all in the name of fashion, of course.

Grey Sweaters are so versatile for fall – I have three or four that I switch out through the cooler months.

Striped T-shirts – every girl should have at least one. They’re classy yet comfortable, so you can dress them up or down.

Boyfriend Jeans are the ultimate stylish-yet-comfortable jeans. I like mine a bit tighter in the thighs so they don’t look like sweatpants, but you can go as baggy or as tight as you like. Just make sure they have that trademark cuff on the bottom.!

Pink Converse…are you tired of seeing them yet?

My exact necklace isn’t available online, but you can check out these other Fair Trade options.

My Book of the Day is Battle of the Ampere by Richard Paul Evans. If you’re into sci-fi, you’ll love this book!

I’m going to go take off my sweater now…the temperature is still rising and I have to say, I’m a bit grumpy about it. 😩

It’s Fall, Y’all!

Ahhhh I’m so excited for FALL! The leaves, the sweaters, and of course, the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Today was a bit warm to wear my favorite sweater and boots, so I put together a little Fall Transition outfit that turned out super cute!

I love this Grey T-Shirt Dress – it’s as comfy as a nightgown, and you can dress it up or down depending upon the occasion.

Plaid happens to be one of my favorite things. It’s probably grown from a love to an unhealthy obsession as I’ve gotten older, but you won’t tell, will you? 😉 This Pink Plaid is literally to die for. ❤

Converse tennis shoes for obvious reasons. #shoegoals

happy fall, y’all ❤

Chambray and Stripes

This is honestly one of my new favorite outfits.

I could sit around and just pet this chambray shirt. A little weird, maybe…but it seriously feels like silk.

Just picked up this striped tee from Target yesterday! It’s on sale for $5, so get a bunch of colors while you can.

These colored shorts from Belk are almost as soft as the shirt. I’ve been hoping to get some more colors, they have a really pretty pale pink.

Are you sick of seeing these thong sandals yet? I’m definitely not sick of wearing them – they get even more comfortable as I break them in.

My Book of the Day is The Voyages of Dr. Dolittle by Hugh Lofting. This is one of my childhood favorites, but I even enjoy it now. It’s free on the Kindle currently!

Happy Wednesday! 🙂

❤ , Hannah

The Black T-Shirt Challenge

So I decided to try and create three completely different outfits from the base of one black t-shirt: vintage, hipster, and preppy. One black t-shirt, 3 different styles. Can she do it, you ask? Let’s find out! *cue drum roll*

Time for vintage!

This Floral Skirt is great for summer. (Link is to a similar skirt, slightly longer)

A Vintage Key Necklace adds an interesting touch to the outfit. (good interesting, not bad interesting ;))

Black Flats are like the black t-shirt – you can do almost anything to them.

Hipster…trying to be, anyway.

Pink Jeans are always fun!

Plaid is my favorite thing, honestly.

Black Flats…again.

Preppy! 😀

White Shorts are a summer must-have.

Lightweight Scarves are in this season – I definitely recommend grabbing a few for the spring!

Yellow Box Flip-flops are a warm-weather favorite of mine.

I had to take a separate picture of the hat because my book wouldn’t fit under it.

❤ my Lauren James Bow Hat!

Plain T-Shirts and Statement Necklaces

^^^ One of my favorite things. 🙂

I did a major mall haul yesterday – got this super cute Swingy T-Shirt from Charlotte Russe.

Everyone loves Boyfriend Jeans! They’re super soft and comfortable.

More Yellow Box Flip Flops…I have a bit of an obsession.

Statement Necklaces are great with plain tee’s and even some patterns. Pick up several from places like Claire’s and Charlotte Russe – they have them for really cheap.

Graphic Tees and Skinny Jeans

I was definitely feeling the hipster vibe today – when the vibe calls, you must answer. So I chose this outfit!

Graphic tees are always fun! This one from American Eagle has the same lemony yellow color as mine.

I ❤ these jeans. So soft, so comfy…perfection.

Three cheers for Converse!

My beautiful bracelets came from this Fair Trade Friday set. The artisans who make the lovely items in their shop are some of the most oppressed and impoverished in the world, from Kenya to Ethiopia to refugees relocated to the United States. They are paid more than a fair wage and empowered by your purchase. Please support this wonderful company!

My Book of the Day is Escape to the Island of Aquarius by Frank E. Peretti. It’s a quick read, about 150 pages, but I highly recommend it!

Converse and Infinity Scarves

It’s been a while since I’ve done an OOTD – probably because my outfits haven’t been “bloggable” if you know what I mean. 😉

My Pink Long Sleeve Tee is SUPER comfy and soft, so I love to dress it up with a necklace and sweater for nicer occasions. Today I stuck with my Pink and Purple Infinity Scarf for a comfy casual look.

These Straight Leg Jeans are probably the most comfortable ones I have. They look really cute with a cuff at the bottom!

Converse All Stars are a classic wardrobe staple. They hold up amazingly, so you could easily get 5-10 years of wear.

My Book of the Day is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – I just read all of the Harry Potter books for the first time and I LOVE them. ❤ ❤ ❤
